Vueling Flug von Wien nach Barcelona

i am a musician from vienna, austria and i travelled to barcelona on 30.june (flight VY 8711) to play a concert there and went back to vienna the next day (VY8710)1.

on both flights i co was not allowed to store my guitar in the overhead luggage bin, altough there was enough space. the cabin crew took my my instrument and after arrival i had to wait one and a half hour at the special luggage belt at barcelona airport, only to pick up my guitar in a wet and messy condition and almost missed my show.

the same thing happened to my bandmate. we travelled a lot during the last years, doing concerts all over europe, usa, canada, china, india and indonesia, and it was never a problem to put an instrument in the overhead luggage department (exept for smaller aircraft) the internet is full of communication between musicians about the topic if an airline is artist - friendly or not, and i will spread the word that vueling does not give a shit about the concerns of creative humans.
